This past St. Patrick's Day weekend, it appears that some Denverites ran out out of the "Luck of the Irish." According to Colorado State Patrol and reported by KDVR 31, 682 drivers were arrested for DUI between March 11 and March 18.
While five people did die in autombile accidents during that period, KDVR 31 reports that "none of those fatalities appear to be alcohol-related."
Colorado State Police are encouraging drivers to download the R-U-Buzzed phone application developed in conjunction with the CDOT. The application is free and available for iPhone and Android.
